Empowering the Next Generation
in Aerospace and Artificial Intelligence
Aviation Connection is a registered charity dedicated to inspiring and educating high school students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through immersive programs in aeronautics, engineering, artificial intelligence, and drone technology.
As the aerospace industry expands rapidly, there is a significant demand for a skilled workforce, including pilots, engineers, and AI specialists. Aviation Connection helps meet this demand by fostering interest in STEM fields early and facilitating the integration of students into universities and vocational training, fostering a competent next generation capable of facing future challenges.
At Aviation Connection, our goal is to create equal opportunities for all. Programs are offered free of charge, providing critical educational opportunities to underprivileged and minority groups, giving them a pathway to higher education and lucrative careers.
We’re committed to bringing high-quality STEM programs and resources to public high schools, breaking down barriers often associated with costly, specialized programs.

Camil Dumont – Founding President
Passionate about aviation from a young age, Camil became a pilot in 1978 and takes every opportunity to share his passion with young people. In 2008, with financial support from Bombardier, he launched Aviation Connection’s Pilot Mentor Program which allows young pilots engaged in professional training to accumulate more than 30 flight hours and international experience.
Camil is also a financial professional: he dedicated himself to managing portfolios for companies and individuals, in partnership with several Canadian financial institutions. Since 2017, he has devoted himself exclusively to the development and implementation of Aviation Connection’s aviation training program.
The success of the program relies on the strength of the team, and Camil is proud to work with an incredible group of professionals and enthusiasts.
Jennifer Schwab – Director
CEO of ENTITY Academy
Jennifer Schwab has extensive experience and a deep commitment to aviation, education, and sustainability. A private pilot for over ten years, she blends her passion for aviation with a successful career in education and technology as CEO of ENTITY Academy, a platform dedicated to training and mentoring women in tech. Jennifer has empowered women to excel in technology-focused roles, bridging skills gaps and encouraging diversity in a rapidly evolving industry.
Jennifer also co-founded Sierra Club Green Home in collaboration with the Sierra Club, demonstrating her commitment to environmental awareness and sustainable living. She holds degrees in urban planning from UC Irvine and accounting from the University of Arkansas, and went on to study environmental design at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Jennifer’s Fulbright Fellowship in Israel, focusing on sustainable water management, further underscores her commitment to making meaningful societal contributions.
As a member of Aviation Connection’s Board of Directors, Jennifer leverages her extensive experience in educational strategy and program integration to support the organization’s mission to expand STEM education in aviation and aerospace. Her insight and expertise in curriculum development are priceless assets in inspiring and enabling students from diverse backgrounds to pursue careers in these fields, strengthening the foundation’s commitment to building an inclusive and skilled future generation.
Rob Dewar – Director
Father of the Airbus A220
Known as the “father of the Airbus A220,” Rob is a renowned Canadian aerospace leader and living legend who has collaborated with industry giants such as Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson, and Elon Musk. We’re delighted to welcome Rob to the Aviation Connection Board of Directors.
Rob has supported Aviation Connection from the very beginning, driven by his dedication to inspiring young minds to pursue higher education and STEM careers, especially in aerospace and artificial intelligence.
The Aviation Connection team is thrilled to have him on board as we continue to grow and gain recognition across North America in the field of STEM education.
